my teeth show very well when i smile, however my face is relatively long. Is a ccw rotation worth getting at the sacrifice of the smile and less tooth showing?

anyone with a long face should be getting a ccw rotation in both the lefort1 and bsso probably. i dont get why you are wondering about the smile. how would a ccw even affect that?

Wouldn't it show less of my teeth due to the palate being adjusted and the teeth and gums being higher up after? or would my lips adjust to that?

CCW can affect tooth show if the maxilla is impacted, which is very common in long face patients

If overrotated it can make the nose seem further back and create a bad smile l. Class 3 look

This would fix your issue. No impaction, upper teeth keep same height, occlusion plane angle, which is steep in longfacecels, decreases and lower jaw height is shortened. Even though i myself dont quite understand how this would affect for example the chin to philtrum ratio... my bimax needs to be similar to this as well but i dont quite understand how one can shorten the philtrum in this, since lower jaw height also decreases. Does anybody know?

I don't have a long face but I thought bsso was for width?

Bsso is a sagittal split of the mandible, meaning it moves forward and back, i dont think you can increase your jaw or gonial width with a standard bsso. Jaw angle inplants for that maybe
