chad gets destroyed by multiple sclerosis

My boyfriend (24 y/o) was diagnosed with MS this weekend. He presented with numbness, tingling, and weakness on his right upper and lower extremity. I just so happen to be a neurology nurse and I can’t help but think the worst. His MRI shows 4 lesions on his brain and one lesion that’s currently active on his spinal cord. I guess I’m just wondering if its true that MS is worse for men? I would also love to hear from other men who have MS what they would like there partner to do to feel supported. We have been together for 8 years and I can’t imagine life without him.
