About 2 months ago, my social life took a huge hit because of a dm I sent online.

The guy I’m dming asks me: “do you think about slaying girls in our school?” I respond “yes”.

It gets screenshotted and leaked and before I know it my school life is basically over. I get kicked out of parties, beaten up, and girls give me weird looks as I walk through the hallways. It’s been 2 months of LDAR now and it hasn’t gotten any better, all because of a small comment I made in a dm.

During all of this, a 6’3 robust pretty boy says something sexually explicit and a lot worse than my comment to a girl’s face.

It gets completely swept under the rug and people forget about it within a day, some even sympathising with him and saying it’s because he’s ‘autistic’ even though I am also ND.

This whole situation made me realise how prominent the halo effect is. Why am I seen as a ‘pervert’ for the same thing a chad does frequently just because I’m not attractive?
