its something called a growth plateau where your growth plates remain open while not seeing any height growth
anecdotes report either no growth after the plateau or some say they haven't grown for a year and a half and experience cms of growth
very case dependent, hope you are the latter

your plates are unlikely to close at 15.5 although definitely possible. you have about 3cm of natural growth left in your genetic-wise in your height projection. so they're likely still open imo. but who knows they could be closed although less likely. if you wanna be 100% just check it.
