Throughout puberty as your body produces more hormones that influence growth like test, gh and other androgens does the midface get affected.
As these affect many bones in the face such as supraorbitals, im wondering if any other bones development relies this much on these hormones. For example the maxilla, as it stops growing at around age 12 could an increase of total bone mass around the midface region reduce the illusion of less of a recessed maxilla.
I tried to write this in a way that is understandable as i cant really put what im thinking into words.
