Did he have a medically confirmed brain injury? If so, it is probably blunt trauma as they carried him. It could even be a popped vessel in the brain. Remember, his carotid literally gaped open.

It can be just random sudden reflex. Decorticate posturing in hands happens since your brain is sending multiple signals, and fingers just react to them easily, making it curl almost instantaneously.

Yeah body is weird, but the fact he also lost consciousness immediatly points to his spine also being hit. I have seen other video where people had the carotid severed and they had several seconds, at least five, untill colapse.

My point wasn’t that you’re unconscious upon shot. It was that he got shot, winced in a natural response to stimuli, and then the blood loss from the carotid is what detached correct signalling causing this odd sort of static frame he had. I do think he was briefly conscious, but soon out of conscious and dead within minutes.

I think this is wrong for one main reason:

The shot clearly hit his neck, you can see the entry wound in the video, and the constant flowing of blood afterwards supports that. It’s said the bullet hit his neck and an artery, which explains the blood.

I’m not sure how the best could bounce into him like that. Although his shirt did “flanker” a lot when the bullet was shot

Then the blood loss likely caused misinterpreted signals either post/pre-unconsciousness. His behaviour was likely initially voluntary, but that much blood loss will very quickly cause misfired neural signals.

Interesting, I wanted to know what everyone thought. I immediately noticed how he tensed up/did a weird reflex when he got shot. What’s the consensus on that? When I first saw it I thought it was due to the bullet hitting a shit ton of nerves/important things in the neck, possibly spine.
