Its seems to be teeth expander . You will expand your palate by moving the teeth and not the maxilla.

If you want to change the face u need to change the bone. This expander will not affect the bone. MSE is screw into the maxilla its not the same, MSE move bone, nitanium move only teeth

I think but im not sure, if ur teeth are fine dont use it
