You can have a long midface and still have a cmopact looking face if you have mongoloid tier cheekbones. On the other hand you can have a compact midface with narrow cheekbones and look narrrow. Efron vs Bieber is a good comparison.

i meant wide cheekbones vs normal ones tbh. Wide cheekbones/=/wide face. Wide cheekbones have LATERAL projection. Normal cheekbones dont. Also big zygos mogs small zygos in perceived FWHR too. Like high mass zygos with little lateral projection can make you look wider than if you had low mass zygos with little lateral projection.

Extremly good and high IQ take. I have death tier MFR and and bad FWHR but because i have nice cheekbone and i fraud with hair to make an illusion of them being bigger my face doesn't even look that that narrow, and it's not even my biggest failo. Although part of it might be that i have like 17-20mm philtrum which i hide partly with a small moustache so that reduces perceived MFR too probably

Wonder why i've never seen this mentioned tbh, human faces are so interesting and have many factors, there are probably ratios that haven't even been made up yet
