Cheekbones relative to temples (not bitemporal width)

I plan to get cheekbone reduction to get a better face shape, but narrowing my zygos to a certain point will make them about the same width as my temples, would it be better aesthetically to have a more slightly compact face with temples slightly narrower than zygos, or more tall face with zygos same width as temples?
