Chemical peels for PIE (acne scars)?

Were the results satisfying?
Can you get it done if you have any active pimples?

Chemical peels are useless for PIE. Either vascular laser or only time will fix them

chemical peels exfoliate the skin cells from the upper layer of the skin so that should help atleast a bit, but you're right that lasers are probably a better option, also retinoids speed up the skin cell turnover so theoretically that should help with healing PIE faster but it'll still take long time

Chemical peels will help a lot for PIH. For PIE its a blood vessel issue under the skin. For it to heal ideally u want to keep ur skin as hydrated as possible for the healing process which can take a few months. Any irritation would actually make it look worse
