1200 ELO everyone I play against are practically gms they see my plans 5 moves ahead, cover any potential dangerous squares, advanced endgame play I see the majority of my opponents 3-4 steps attacks but there is always one they get through that gets them a slightly better position or maybe eventually a pawn. I keep losing and chess at 1200 ELO+ can truly make your brain physically hurt

1200s make blunders but the but the positional play of my opponents are miles ahead of anything I faced being just 1000 ELO, it's impossible to slowly destroy your opponents with playing better positionally unless you're Magnus carlsen, the way games are won is that one player finds a 5 move tactic in an advanced position to win a pawn or maybe a piece

No GMs at 1200 even at 2550 u get 1 every 30games. If it hurts your brain just stop caring about rating and just try to improve. I can lose 100points 1 day and regain it all the next.

I find chess intellectually unremarkable! I consider myself far more intelligent than the game itself.
