Chewing when you have a short ramus is bad idea.

Your face will look stupid wider, if ramus doesn’t at least reaches the bottom lip.

Also, you will not get a longer ramus after puberty.

masseter only creates benign hypertrophy on some people who has genetic fitness for getting bigger. majority of people cannot grow masseter due to low mass from birth. big gonions have big mass masseters in general.

so chewing is useless most of the time anyway.

What's the mechanism for why you can't hypertrophy masseters? There's a large amount of people who say they can't gain muscle/lose weight because of genetics but they just don't have enough T or have a bad diet. I don't think anyone has ever done a full chewing regimen with testosterone assistance. I'm sure there would be significant hypertrophy.

I'm currently on my first week of test + chewing cycle. If I get results then this cope has to stop.

literally nothing will happen jfl @curryslayerordeath

it's about how muscle attached to your bones genetically. think like pectoral muscles. not everyone has big pecs like arnolds.
mine is quite small and shapelesss even though i press 100kg weekly at gym. although i have giant shoulders. so it depends.

but if you're taking test then it can change the whole sceneario, i don't know.

You can still gain size on your biceps. It won't look defined and popping out but you can still gain mass from a state of not working out at all. If you have toothpicks as arms, you can get to a point of having decently big arms no matter who you are (exception for certain disorders). Same applies to jaws. If you have a narrow jaw, you should hypothetically be able to get a wider jaw. Testosterone will multiply that growth.

I'm experimenting with it right now so I will have results (or not :rage:) in around 5 weeks.

it's generally a bad idea for most people because of masseter inserts, gonial angle, body fat %, ramus....
you got to have these things or chewing will be a looksmin

What an example of good vs bad masseter inserts?

His gonial angle doesn't look that good.

There is no such mechanism
Everyone can hypertrophy masseters. If yours are harder to hypertrophy you can combine chewing with ems.

Masseter insertion is pretty much the same for everyone. What changes is what part of the masseters are recruited during chewing.
it is the superficial head/lower head that will make the jaw look angular and the ramus longer.

The way you chew greatly effects if you contract the middle, lower head of masseter or the temporalis. If you "cant" hypertrophy the masseters its prob because you are using mostly the temporalis to chew.

You can make the ramus longer after puberty of course, if you hypertrophy the lower head of masseters, but it will take a bit longer than when young.

Again hypertrophying the middle head of the masseters will do nothing but make you bloated.

How do you target the lower head? When I chew my temples flex a lot.

No such thing as masseter inserts.
Its what part of it you contract. You should contract the lower head ideally since young.
The way you chew affects where it contracts.

You chew with a forward motion. Like as if youre trying to slighly jut your jaw.
For example try jutting you jaw a bit and then contract jaw muscles/bite. You will feel more the lower head of masseter.

Now try the opposite. Do something like a chin tuck and bite. You will feel more pressure at middle of masseters and temporalis.

If you dont feel enough of the lower head chewing the right way you should get an ems device and place the electrodes on teh lower masseter

How.did it go?
Did you achieve aesthetic results?
Did you chew on molars or incisors?
Does your ramus seem a little longer? Because of hypertrophy?

Extremely bloated and round jaw. Not a good idea.

Was your face lean before you chewed? Large masseters tend to only look good when there is little fat on the cheeks and submental region.
