I’m going to get MSE and extractions if necessary to pull back my protruding mouth so that I can get bimax (with a high lefort 1) with a ton of projection with less chance of chimp lip.

If you wanna advance a shit shit ton, you NEEED to make your mouth look like a caving in mouth of an old lady before surgery. This way it’s pretty much impossible to get chimp lip and your points of projection will be mainly nasal base and chin.

remember with bimax youre doing a bsso too so if your set your teeth back you can advance your mandible including chin much further making your jawline much more dramatic without your mouth area being too far forward as well. Same goes for the maxilla if you do a high cut lefort youll still get fullness on the midface without a fat upper lip if your teeth arent so far forward. It comes down to aesthetic taste as well. I think profiles there the nose and midface and chin stick out a bit more than lips is the best looking.

Agreed 100% about midface and chin sticking out more than lips, problem is i have recessed nasal bridge and midface too. But I get what you're saying. Who are you gonna go to for surgery when you do? Like who is most willing to give advancement? Alfaro?

lol i don't need to go to one of those guys. I'm going with a well known surgeon in my area. A high lefort 1 isn't uncommon and hell do it. Also dental decompensation with braces with be a part of the process anyway cuz im getting the surgery for sleep apnea and they know they need to advance a certain amount and in order to not get horrible aesthetic result they need to fix my protrusion first. My plan isnt all that elaborate and is probably a pretty common plan.
