Usually as we grow up, our nose gets larger and our face gets longer.
If a child has ideal proportions that looks almost like an adult, they will have a large schnoz and long face as an adult.
I think this is why younger girls prefer pretty boys, because faces too developed at a young age indicates descension with time.
