Chin growth

Im currently 16 and have a recessed chin but everyone in my family has forward growing chins that includes my dad, mom and sister who is three years younger than me. I was looking into it and saw that it’s possible that I can still get forward growth as the face still develops until 20. I was wondering if it can still grow or should I just rope?

if you have a skeletal overbite it sets the lower third back, idk if you have it for sure tho, check

I have a slight overbite but im also wearing Invisalign idk if that helps or not

if its skeletal (meaning your jaw is skeletally set back) then no its not gonna help, but it doesnt look bad, just dont worry about it

That’s temporary tho but I was wondering if my chin can still grow cause everyone in my family have forward chins and I don’t
