I just looked at the side pictures again, and you can see that he had a chin tucked posture in the before picture, and clenched in the after.

Bimax people are practically dead for 2 weeks, and suffer for another 3 months till they can live normally again.

I guess if the skin streatch out the jaw gets automatically defined a bit more
