Chin implant vs jaw surgery

I have a bit of jaw recession that I would like to get fixed tho I don’t want to spend all the money and go thru all the trouble needed to have surgery on the jaw, could I instead get a chin implant to give the illusion of a better forward grown jaw or would that just give me a moon face as my chin already is pretty well developed?

Consult with a surgeon who specialises in facial aesthetics. Usually a recession would require the intervention of surgery, and you’ll look better, although people who aren’t recessed but don’t have a strong mandible/ have a flat maxilla can benefit from genio as to not look ‘dogmaxxed’.
