Chin Projection/Recessed Maxilla?

Asked My Orthodontist if my maxilla was recessed - she said it’s protruded forward cope or no?
Also how do I fix chin projection? About to turn 17.
Orthodontist can help at all or surgery/fillers only option?
At a high BF% and fixing gut health atm hoping to get a much lower bf % by the end of July.

I think that the real issue here is the whole lower jaw it self seem like it is grown a lil back
ofc this is caused by bad habits when you were a kid such as mouth breathing eating food thats most likely doesent require hard chewing
if you are 17 you should give a year and a half for mewing well before going onto a double jaw surgery
If I were you I would give mewing a year plus to two years and see if it changes
If not and this thing still seems to bother you go onto a double jaw surgery
