Chin recession might be fixable

It might seem crazy what I'm about to say but I might actually have found a solution that can give as much results as a surgery can do
Before explaing any further I'd like to specify that i'm not a professional and that I am not qualified by any document as an orthodontist. I'm a very smart guy way over average IQ and many of my cognitive functions are top 1-5% of the population therefore I thought that giving it atleast a try would've been worth it

So let's begin with the actual topic:
Is there any way to fix chin recession?
In my opinion it is possible

In the last 2 weeks I've been focused designing a device that can help guide bone growth.
HOW: My thought process is actually pretty simple, since using tension we can guide and move teeth (wich are bone) how we want (or almost) we can do that with other bones too. We know by Wolff's law that bones (and in general human body) aren't a still object but rather dynamic and they adapt to external condition.
So by knowing this we can state that specifically during growth we can use external factors in order to guide bones in order to make them change compared to the route they would've followed in natural condition.
The device i'm talking about is exactly the "external condition". This doesn't mean it is an all might magical item that can turn you into prime Jordan Barrett if you wear it a couple of nights, there are some condition in order to make it work.
1 you must be growing: the device is meant to guide new bone mass into shifting in the ideal direction. If there is no new bone it will take an insane amount of time and will make only a little change (maybe) it's very strictly based off age if the growth plates are closed it's over. Even I at 16 might be too late for it to work completely :feelsrope:
2 There must be space for anchorage: exactly like braces you need a base to place it on and it and we must ensure that the anchorage won't end up deforming the base during usage
3 It needs a shit ton of time: It would be ideal to wear it atleast 14/16 hours of time (minimum, the more the better) night included since deep sleep is the time GH spikes and your bones will be growing the most

Right now the device I designed is made specifically for my craniometry so obviously there will be little to no chance it will fit you too. Personally my goal is to achieve better chin projection. I'm not subhuman (maybe side profile yes) but yk it's never enough :feelsez:
Penup 20250622 211203

This is the complete project and it's kinda hard to understand with all of the various layars overlapping but should be enough for you to understand what I'm talking about. Under all those layers there's my recessed ass btw :lul:
I'm going to guide you into the understanding of my psycotic bullshit:
RED is used to mark the device, as you can see there's a big ass spring pointed in the back of my chin making tension, similiar to how an Herbst works it isn't a completely new concept. To avoid bruises but also inefficency the spring tension should be around 200/300 grams. There is another little spring on the lace that goes from the device's base (red square) up to my nasal bone, that one is pulling instead, in order to balance the devices push strenght and also cuz I would like for my nasal bone to not expand further. The pressure on the nasal bone will also mean pressure to the bone right behind it ( the maxilla) wich will be influenced into expanding towards the zygomantic areas
BLACK is my original profile but it's completely overlapped so u can barely see it
YELLOW is the goal side profile
LIGHT BLUE is another goal profile
DARK BLUE AREA is the area were bone has to form and is being redirected
DARK BLUE you can see I've highlighted two of my morals (they should be around that area it's not perfectly accurate) were I'm planning to apply an Herbst like device that I'm actually gonna build on my invisalign to distribute pressure and add pressure to the lever that the main spring is creating on my chin, wich is also influencing the expansion of my ramus ( you should understand what I mean with a little understanding of how levers work)
ORANGE are the points were there will be applied direct pressure
GREEN are simply the arrows that signal where tension is being redirected through the bones
PURPLE is the maxilla area because if we apply pressure to the chin the tension will go all the way up to the maxilla making it expand forward instead of downward (If we include invisaling use, otherwise the tension will be lost between the teeth a lot. There still will be tension, but way more using invisaling and also the tension won't end up ruining your bite)
LIGHT GREEN is the possible inclination of the device. Based on the inclination there will be changes on how the pressure is distributed the upper you go the more forward pressure will be applied to the chin, so the chin will expand more but there will be less pressure limiting downgrowth and less tension going up to the maxilla. The lower you go the more you guide bones to stop growing down and the more tension reaches the maxilla
So I think I covered every strictly necessary explenation.
Right now i'm looking for the materials in order to manifacture this thing, so I'm publishing this article to have a feedback and also in hope of finding any suggestion or anybody to help me realize it.
I know this article will either get me bullied and death threats either I will be praised like a Messiah no in between :hnghn:
But imma do it anyways, doesn't really matter the number of people who will call it cope:soy:
This is also my first post ever and english isn't my first lenguage (italian is 🇮🇹)
Thanks for the attention, I hope we will ascend twin🌹❤️

This is pretty high IQ, but without an actual render of the device it's hard to understand how it'll work

I'll read sometime, but come on man. :ROFLMAO:
I'm not lying It's true and tested... I got bullied for it as a kid (since kids perceive it as weird neurodivergence) :feelsuhh: Do you want me to publish the document? I don't even know where tf is it rn tho

Yeah right now I have a Tablet where I can 2d graphic only, but my pc is pretty good it would surely manage some 3d rendering. When I have some time I'm going to try make a 3d render.

I wasn't disparaging the fact that you're smart, you most likely are.
Are you in mensa?

just go to an orthodontist and have them give you a facepuller, then an expander, and finally invisalign with ma

Headgears are mainly used to expand maxilla tho, here I am aiming for the mandible

TBH i think youre retarded but im curious to see what happens. I think its a solid chance you end up deforming your jaw

Beutiful. Technically I am dedorming my jaw that's the goal, the point is I'm deciding how it will bend and also it's still growing so I'm not just bending mass that already is there but also redirecting new mass

"super high iq", says teeth are bones tho...

usually the mandible catches up with the maxilla
yeah and viceversa also, therefore an headgear that pushes the mandible instead of pulling the maxilla is more fitted to a situation of chin recession.

"super high iq", says teeth are bones tho...
hold on I admit I said that wrong put my point was that to move teeth were also creating and modelling space in the bones they are attached to, so maxilla and mandible :soy: and high IQ doesn't mean omniscent, it doesn't equal knowledge. It equals many other things in wich the ability of applying and using knowledge...

You wrote a whole essay for nothing 😂 No one is reading this bcs alone the Title is cope

Not a fucking boson bro. Get a biomedical tech degree before designing orthodontic devices.

u're absolutely right about this but it will be too late to apply it to myself by that time... and also it's for my own private use

There is a shit ton to look out for with tension in 3D space. I guarantee you need to take university mechanics lectures otherwise your meme device will do god knows what and just destroy random joints while deforming your face. Your tension mechanism would most likely just damage the weakest part; the joint where your ramus attaches to the rest of the skull.
