chin to philtrum ratio seems outdated

like its usually pretty good but doesnt it make more actual sense if you measure it relative to the entire skull like the lower upper face ratio? seems retarded to determine the height of the mandible relative to just the tiny space between the nose and upper lip. just seems like bad mathematic modelling

i know but i mean using it to measure mandible height and some people could just think extending the chin height would "balance" it when really it defeats the point of what the measurement is actually meant for which is normal facial development

I don’t rate him at all.
Irregardless of the philtrum, the chin is too short and lips are too red and “sharp”.
To me he looks like a Dr Seuss character.

Who said that this was the only ratio involving chin that mattered? Of course the facial thirds have to be proportional too
