It's worth it if your chin is fucked up, if your entire jaw is fucked up, dont do it, except if youre planning to get jaw implants after the chin wing in which case a chin wing is a good setup

I have a small and narrow chin, with little exposure of the mandibular branch. I just need to correct this blemish, I don't aspire to a jaw like Brad Pitt

bullshit, the chin wing gives excellent results. it also depends on the result you want to achieve

Your chin will not get bigger. It's just being moved forward. My chin was recessed and is now very protruding, so I'm satisfied with the result, but if you seek a bigger chin you need to get implants.

Chin wing alone does give enough advancement. Trust me on that one. And yes, like I said, a chin wing is a very good base for an implant because it gives the Jaw the proper proportions that you can build on when designing an custom implant (never get a prefactured one)

Yes this is also what I saw from different CTs, the question is if Dr. Z maybe does not do this kind of cut. This would be sad cause I planned on doing this with him..

for some reason I read the thread title as genio so might not be accurate, BUT when I spoke to him, it certainly sounded more like a chin wing as opposed to a classic genio - the way he described what he'd do to my chin/jaw
