I've been watching the economic situation in china unfold for a few years now, it's all unraveling now, you have mass protests demanding for the ccp to piss off. Such protests are un precedented. The CCP NEEDS some kind of thing to rally the people behind them before China becomes the first nuclear armed state to enter a revolution. That is clearly the invasion of Taiwan. The CCP has been planning to invade for decades and they nearly did do it earlier this year when Russia invaded Ukraine, they decided to not go through with it because they realized they were very unprepared. Now the CCP has to choose between fighting a war they can't realistically win without massive losses or fight a revolution.
