How about adjusting to $PPP?

How about adjusting to $PPP?
These are in PPP numbers, which is the only true measure of economic power

The US is at 23 trillion PPP. The EU is at 19 trillion PPP.

What's PPP?

Nominal GDP is more relevant if we are talking about geopolitics and the US mogs China hard regarding that one

China could surpass the US in nominal GDP overnight if they let their currency naturally inflate. Nominal GDP is utterly useless.

What's PPP?

It refers to Purchasing Power Parity and measures the purchasing power of currencies towards common goods available in various nations. Used as a gauge to compare economic productivity and standards of living between nations. A well known way of comparing PPP between nations is through the "Big Mac Index", because the Big Mac is nearly identical no matter where you're on the planet, it's ideal when calculating currency strength and purchasing power.

Example: If a hamburger is selling in London for £2 and in New York for $4, it means a PPP exchange rate of 1 pound to 2 U.S. dollars.

That's an amazing way of measuring how the average prole lives. Thanks!

Calculating by PPP isn't entirely relevant when looking at a nation's geopolitical position. Of course China is going to have a far higher PPP than the US or the EU, China has a far larger population and raising their average incomes will end up raising PPP. India would be up there with China if her population weren't deep in poverty. While having a higher standard of living is a good metric when looking at a nation's wealth and wealth = power because naturally, the wealthier a nation is the more power they wield. The United States still pulls ahead when it comes to raw GDP which matters more in geopolitics.

I have no doubt that if China does continue its trend that it will surpass the United States GDP wise which shows that the state capitalist autocratic totalitarian model of the CCP is more than capable of competing with the current degenerate neo-liberal democracatic world order. But only if the ruling government realizes that if the individual citizen gains a higher quality of life that directly leads to a stronger economy and a stronger economy = a strong government = a strong nation. The CCP realized this after the reforms of Deng Xiaoping which left the cancer that Mao inflicted on the country. Turning it away from some backwards third world nation of the fringe of global geopolitics to its forefront.

Imagine if Bangladesh wasn't retarded and followed the Chinese model instead of the liberal democratic cancerous leftover from the English.

Economists work in PPP because its the only thing that matters. I will illustrate why with an example.

Country A produces 1 shirt and sells it at $50. Country B produces the exact same shirt twice, and sells each at $20. Country A is the US. Country B is China.

50 > 40, but which is actually the more productive economy? US, which produces one shirt, or China which produces two?

18 trillion nominal GDP in 2021. 30 trillion in PPP in 2021.

Japan never even reached half of US in PPP, and at most was 75% of US in nominal GDP. China is now 80% of US in nominal GDP, and 25% larger in PPP.

Feel the Dragon's breath down your puny cuckmerican necks 🇨🇳

Yes, but China has 5 times more people than USA. US is so much more wealthy than China. Chinese countryside is Africa tier in infrastructure and wealth.

But if you love China. Why don't you live in China?

You think Toronoto is a better place?

(I hate America that's why I'm going to leave it)

It's difficult to get into China nowadays without a proper reason.

no, I don't think Toronto is a better place to live. I live here so I can inflate the real estate and make it impossible for young cumskins to buy their first home. Hopefully they kill themselves. Even in Toronto I can contribute to the downfall of western society and toward national rejuvenation of the great Chinese nation

Oh. I understand.

You are Chinese by Race, but not a Chinese Citizen. You were not born in China.

That makes much more sense. Also it explains why your English is so good.

Yeah but an F23 costs the same in both countries, and the cost of building a railway line for some BBC's or some SEAcels is the same for both countries hence PPP is misleading in geopolitics.

PPP per capita is a relevant metric for comparing standards of living, as people in China earn less per hour than the USA bit they may need to work less minutes to afford a big Mac, if PPP coefficient>1

I was born in Australia, studied in the US, and now reside in Canada. I hold Australian citizenship and PR in Canada.

I will use my knowledge of the enemy to contribute to national rejuvenation. As an ethnic Chinese, it is my sacred duty.
