Sorry I updated my message in the first paragraph i mention that and go into detail.

Those are just jurisdictions. Eastern Orthodox is very decentralised but generally we have 4 patriarchates. Greek, Russian, Serbian and Egyptian(aka Alexandrian or African patriarchate). Honestly they are all the same in terms of practaces etc but we differ in aesthetics and minor things. For example my main church in the other city allows me to go up and take the bread and get a blessing at once with those taking communion. However my other church in my city which is Greek makes me take the blessing and bread at the end and only those who take the communion can go up at the beginning.

Simple differences like this exist and language for example the Russian one speaks… Russian or Ukrainian and the Greek one speaks Greek (Greek is generally the lanaguge all Eastern Orthodox liturgy is performed in though but if you want an English one look for an Antiochine one as that’s the “international” one and the only jurisdiction where English is the norm spoken for liturgy.

As I said avoid anything saying “Coptic” or “Indian Orthodox” or “Ethiopian/Eritrean Orthodox” they are not Eastern Orthodox they are ORIENTAL and are in schism no diff than Roman Catholics. Also avoid anything to do with the church of the east aka Nestorian Assyrian church.
