There is this homeless guy at my school, Why doesn't he just get a job and buy a home?
He has a choice, now doesn't he?
Does anyone really have a choice?
Is our life like a movie or a game? we have a choice ofc, it's a game not a movie... or is it?
Does anyone truly possess an authentic self, or are we merely reflections of external influences? Does a "self" truly exist?
The language of the universe is mathematic, according to that logic, the universe knows what will happen, Everything is already predicted.
Mathematically speaking, you were supposed to read this, I was supposed to write this.
And now you go down this rabbit hole and realize... your too far gone and there is no way to return.
It makes total sense on paper for us to assume we never have a choice, but going down this nihilistic path will do YOU no good
Stop LDAR'ing + coping and believe there isnt a choice, start living life

if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.

I thought the absurd was more the tension between our intrinsic desire to search for meaning and yet being constantly disappointed by the world’s inability to ever give us one. It’s not that we need to find our own subjective meaning, but that whatever subjective meaning we create is ultimately just as pointless as objective meaning and destined to fail (come crashing down the hill again), despite all the labor we threw into building that meaning (pushing the boulder up the hill). His point, I think, is that that just is life: seeking meaning and always being disappointed. We are all condemned to do this for the rest of our lives, just like Sisyphus. And since we’ve all presumably decided not to kill ourselves, we’ve all committed ourselves to this Sisyphean task. We must imagine Sisyphus happy, because if we don’t, we should probably just put a bullet in our brains.
