Honestly mogs even in terms of excitement and adrenaline too cuz theres a balance of attacking and defending, without extremely high mortality rates and short lifespans

probably Germans since defending a trench is much easier than attacking one

True but for a majority of the war it was the allies who were on the offensive so they had a ton of casualties but in the end the Germans suffered a lot too

Id say the only advantage of being german at Verdun is that u werent being constantly bombarded by artillery

But u would also have to participate in literal suicide attacks with 90%+ casualty rate at le mort homme
