Karma in Buddhism is not some divine punishment system. It's s system of cause and effect. Every action is the result of a former action and seed for a future one. That's it, no mystical babble

The buddha himself said that not everything is because of karma.

Good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people is a testament to the original point of buddhism : Duhkha. That life is filled with suffering, it's not fair and it will never be

So Buddhism says and means nothing, religion of fencesitters. Almost like Freudian psychology, if he jumps he was suicidal and broken if he doesn’t he’s a coward and afraid
