Classic normies.
Another day, another normie TikTok clip. As you can see here, the guy is talking about how parents are supposedly “holding their kids back” and ruining their success. I’m not even going to dive deep into that topic because it gets messy fast.
But then I checked the comments…
So yeah, logically it’s your parents’ fault that you’re behind in life — not genetics, not physical reality, not how society actually works. Just parents talking too much, apparently.
According to normie logic, if parents just stopped pressuring you, everything would magically align: success, status, money, fulfillment.
What most normies completely miss is that expectations are often disconnected from reality. Parents expect outcomes that don’t match the genetic or cognitive starting point, and then everyone acts surprised when life doesn’tturn into a movie script.
Blaming “pressure” alone while ignoring genetics, looks, and hierarchy is peak normie thinking.
Reality doesn’t care about motivation speeches. You mostly play the hand you’re dealt — unless you’re promised success 3000 years in advance
