So I was in period 2, listening to music with my airpods in on full blast. Without me noticing, my substitute teacher called on me for attendance. Unfortunately I could not hear her speaking due to the volume of my music. Fortunately for me, my classmate (a girl), gently nudged me and spoke efor me, saying "he's here!". Taken aback, I looked over confused but quickly realized what had happened. As I rushed to thank her, she gave me a warm smile and turned away. I'm not sure why I keep repeating it in my head but this was my first time being touched/ helped by a girl since I broke up with my ex girlfriend. Me and her are just friends but something about that smile and how she talks to me in class gives me knots. NO, these are not mumbai tales this happened earlier today...
