I make around 60,000 per year, but have great healthcare and other benefits. I work in finance, so its not great.

Government jobs typically pay like shit, but they have great benefits. Of course, I still live with my parents, so I save most of it.

So 2 people earning 60,000 in Texas would mean 120,000 home income.

I think that my income is about the median for a single person, its low for a whole household, but that can include multiple earners.
