Okay so I’ve had some blunders in the past where I let my room get far too cluttered (no disgusting shit like food mess and stuff just clutter) And I noticed that I was more stressed and generally more irritable as time went on for seemingly no reason. But as soon as I deep cleaned my room (dusted, cleaned, threw out shit I didn’t want anymore etc) I started having much better sleep quality, I feel calm in my day to day life for the most part, and my productivity has improved slightly. Give it a shot

Every time you see dust in your room or it’s kinda dirty, your cortisol will go up and your body will make you want to clean it bringing your cortisol up instead of down.
