Shaved my goatee + stache after rocking it for 3 years straight.
Mirror check -face looked fatter, rounder, and straight up more feminine/soft. Jawline disappeared, cheeks looking bigger. Felt like I lost all the hard edges and just looked like a clean babyface with extra fat. Not the glow up I hoped for.
Outside though? Complete opposite. Randoms start conversations way more, normies are friendlier, smiling and chatting me up. I got more small talk from strangers in a few days than the whole last month with the beard. Looks like the clean shave makes you seem way more approachable.
With girls it’s whatever, couple extra glances and quick convos, but can’t tell if it’s actually better or just placebo.
Any others notice the same shit going clean shaven? Did it help your social/ dating results or was it a downgrade? Worth it or grow it back?
