Clean shaven or light stubble (1mm clippers) improves colouring for brown guys?

If your skin is brown - and I'm not talking about super dark because then this wouldn't apply - having dark stubble or a beard darkens your entire face overall and makes you look more swarthy. I feel like when brown guys are clean shaven or just have really light stubble, it lightens their overall appearance and improves colouring. Like I said, this doesn't really apply if your dark skin, but I mean for most brown people who can even get a little bit paler (by avoiding tanning) to improve this effect. Idk, low effort thread but I was just curious about what other ppl thought.

You're right, I'm brown and I have not grown a full beard yet,so whenever my beard reaches my ears I always look bad
I always feel that it makes me look homeless but when I shave it all,my friends usually say I look way better but I've never received compliment from a girl ever.Therefore,I can never really be sure if I look good or not(clean shaved)
