I’m NOT asking which mogs as it obviously depends.

My question is WHY it depends, as in which facial factors determine which one suits someone the most?

Like for me light stubble suits best, both clean shaven and heavy stubble make me look worse.

Examples of which suits good looking men the most:
Francisco Lachowski = Clean shaven
Henry Cavill = Light stubble
Nick Bateman = Heavy stubble

If you a top tier jaw, clean shaven is the best.

A stubble can distract from a long midface.

Henry Cavill looks 10x better with light stubble despite top tier jaw

Yeah so someone will killer hollow cheeks and great has such as Sean o Pry, Chico etc clean shaven is probs best

Someone who has a great jaw but lacks hollow cheeks light stubble is best- I fall into this category. The light stubble helps contour the cheeks more and highlight the strong side profile

If jaw is average, with chubbier features then heavy stubble will work best

it really depends on your flaws and halos

insane lower third with short philtrum and good nose to mouth ratio = clean shaven

average lower third or decent lower third with longish philtrum/midface and/or bad nose to mouth ratio = stubble

bad lower third with/or very long philtrum/midface and nose to mouth ratio = heavy stubble

i got a pretty good lower third but a slightly long philtrum and nose to mouth ratio, so i always trim down to 3-4mm stubble. my gf loves it. i get less attention from jbs but more from 18-20 now tbh

Light stubble always mogs. Even if you have great jaw. 1st hoes love it, 2nd it makes a statement abt ur hormones & it just looks even better on nice jaws.
If you have a shitjaw you are condemned to a shaped beard makeup cope

Light stubble absolutely mogs. It just has the highest threshold to pull off since you need both the jaw development and the beard coverage. Clean shaven and heavy beard only require one of them. This is also why it's so popular with women, because it's the best overall indicator of lower third genetics.

Bateman looks insane with light stubble

Yeah never thought about it that way, the light stubble look is rare because you need full coverage AND good jaw.

It’s not as simple as that, it depends on the face.

Also studies indicate light stubble is more appealing to girls and in my own experience I only started pulling girls once I went from clean shave to light stubble.

I think you’ve nailed it:

Good jaw + cheekbones = clean shaven
Good jaw = Light stubble
Average jaw = Heavy stubble

On another note for Indians though, its extremely rare for them to look good clean shaven. It makes my lips and face just look weird whereas in white people it looks normal.

great jawline erea and philtrum= clean shaven or light stubble
average jawline area and/or philltrum = some stubble
shitty jawline area and or phlltrum= heavy stubble to small beard

I fall in the shitty category, so facial hair helped me alot.

Even light stubble is enough to get respect from other men

Clean shaven men literally have no respect for me, night and day when I'm clean Vs stubbled

@Chadethnic101 Are you still at 2mm? My fat loss is going well and I can now suit 1.5mm, previously it was 2-2.5mm.

yeah man rocking the 2mm atm

good to hear man! I feel i will drop lower once fully lean.
Probably a no guard trim, which ends up around 1mm on my trimmer

The leaner the face the shorter the stubble looks much better.

Your bones are starting to pop through sounds like, keep it up!
