Do we currently have a consensus on what the "best" (universally good) gentle cleanser and moisturizer are?

If you don't know, just reply with the ones you use.

They are all pretty much the same really. Mark as solution

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser – Gentle, low-irritant, supports skin barrier. (JAAD)
Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel – Removes excess sebum without stripping; good for oily/combination skin. (The Guardian)

Top 3 Moisturizers (study-backed)

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream – Ceramide-rich, hydrates and reduces water loss. (PubMed)
Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Cream – Supports barrier repair, reduces dryness. (PMC)
The INKEY List Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturizer – Lightweight ceramide + humectant formula, good for mixed or oily skin. (PMC)

pls mark as answer if this helped

Yes nigga, what did you want me to do, make you a FUCKING ESSAY:forcedsmile:, either way I checked sources and talked with gpt for a while, this question has also been on my mind. either way I use: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream + Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, there is a reason why these 2 brands have been dominating the skincare industry ( BEACUSE THEY'RE BETTER(and cheaper:pepefrown:)

What makes them better than the Based products that have been popping off on ads/social media?

A few points:
1: That faggot based goy slop is just trending ( like the logan paul drink prime), it's just the 12 year old kids who think they will ascend beacuse its "natural"

2: it is overpriced as FUCK, just getting a cleanser and moisterizer comes out to like fucking 50 dollars

3: they are both made in china bullshit

4: it is not something important/won't make a big difference for 5x the price (what would make a difference is if you were doing something more important like sourcing HGH)
