2 weeks ago i started using clobetasol propionate to slim my nose down. If you don't know this is one of the most potent corticosteroid cream on the market. I went for this over hydrocortisone or weaker creams because i was desperate and wants results(some people also dont get results from them), fortunately, results is exactly what i got.
If you want to know right away, i am very happy with the results.
Disclaimer: i stopped taking oral minoxidil in the same period of time, so it may have affected the results i got
I used the cream twice a day on my nose, morning in evening. In the morning i left it as long as i could and in the evening i left it all night. There is only one problem with using it like i did, the cream is very thick and because of this very small pimples started forming on my nose. But if you want to go for it, go for it. As far as i understand, the longer you leave it the more there is to get absorbed, meaning faster results?
Something you should know is that this cream makes your nose extremely sensitive to practically everything. After 1.5 weeks of using it i went out for an entire day under the sun, reapplied sunscreen on my nose multiple times to make sure i wouldnt get burned, and i still fucking did lol. Even before i got burned my nose was still very sensitive after using the cream for 1 week, it hurt to touch and the skin felt very thin.
Because of the potent nature of this cream, its not sustainable to use for a long period of time, and most doctors recommend you use it for 2 weeks for patients with skin conditions. After that you risk getting permanent damage. If enough people ask i will talk more about this because it can possibly be leveraged in a way that yeilds permanent thinning of the nose. Needless to say, I am positive that results go away after you stop using it
. But i cannot live knowing this. I refuse to have my old shitty fat nose. I yearn to be loved.
You can get this cream from indiamart or by bribing your pharmacist like i did (high risk depending on location).
Anyways, I think that covers everything, feel free to ask questions ill try to answer them
And no, i wont be posting before and after because im to lazy to look and crop the photos lol. Remember that i also stopped taking oral minoxidil, which is famous for bloating your face.
Edit: If someone is knowledgeable on the side effects of long term corticosteroid cream use, please share it id appreciate it
