So itโ€™s about time I start dressing like the average cool kid in NYC, the leather jacket, the thrifted pants, shirts, and some weird looking sneakers.

Where do I even begin with finding such clothing?

Besides going to thrift stores which even then I donโ€™t know which ones are good, should I stick the normal popular stores around; Old Navy, Uniqlo, etc?

Does anyone know good stores for finding such clothing? What about leather jackets specifically?

Help is really needed and very appreciated.

Should I genuinely look into this store or are you just joshin?

I'm half kidding

It's a legit NY shop but it's not luxury

I do like their formal wear though

The ties are nice
Stripes with stripes within the stripes

This is the style Iโ€™m trying to go for.

My budget is anywhere below $400.

Just go to the JP Morgan library and look at old artefacts instead.

Yeah go check out L train vintage in Brooklyn. I think they have a few locations. Itโ€™s a thrift store but you need to go there often and look because they constantly have new stuff. Very cheap but just make sure to look at the stuff you wanna buy up & down for any marks or scuffs etc.

I know, but I have the look for it, I can clearly pass as a white and my hair is light brown with some orange mixed in.

Itโ€™s for networking purposes too.
