It is my belief that the culture that was present in England at the time of the British Empire is far and away superior to every single culture that is present in the world today as well its historical contemporaries
1. Ottomans, Mughals, Chinese and Japanese were some of the wealthiest groups at the time when English were the first to industrialise. Not to mention the European counterparts of England. Why did these groups independently not industrialise themselves ? Why was only England the first one to industrialise on its own ? Culture can be the only answer
2. After the spread of English knowledge and science, other Europeans also had the opportunity to gain infrastructural and military advantage compared to Britain, some kingdoms were even larger and had a bigger population. Why was it that England was the one out of those to hold the biggest land out of all of them ?
The answer is culture. Look at Britain's remnants. Those that successfully absorbed British culture the most ex Singapore, Canada, Australia, USA are also the most prosperous nations today. The ones that tried to create their own systems, failed ex India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.
Britain was and still is the most dominant superpower in historical records. It went to shit the moment it abandoned its own Imperial culture. The very thing that made it great. Now the sun has set on the Empire and the dark ages have returned
