I haven't seen any advice for hair for us ethnics
How do I tame my coarse hair and straighten it a bit. It's 2b/2c but I want it at 2a.

if you want straight hair (1a-1c) then do a keratin treatment to completely straighten out the hair
products with keratin like a keratin mask, smoothens out the hair but doesn't really straighten the hair.
If you want 2a hair, you can use some hairmasks after washing your hair, then blow dry your hair and finish it off with a lightweight hair oil (argan oil, jojoba oil...) Also make sure to use a keratine spray before blow drying your hair to prevent damaging the hair from the heat

Or you can simply use a hair relaxer if you're lazy

depends if you have dry hair but it should make your hair smoother, so it is worth the try
