The amino acid information below is based on this study.
To slow skin aging - we need to slow collagen damage + boost collagen repair. This will be achieved
by boosting 3 amino acids which play an important role in collagen synthesis :
1. Glycine
2. Proline
3. Lysine
High amounts of these amino acids can be found in meat. But even as a carnivore, I want to dramatically
further increase the amounts of these amino acids I get daily.
My Method Is: (Amino Acids)
* 15-20 grams of gelatin / collagen hydrolyzed daily. Contains high amounts of Glycine. Moderate amounts of
Proline, and very low in Lysine.
* 5-10 grams of Glycine daily (powder/capsules)
* 3-6 grams of Proline daily (powder/capsules) - not sure about the amount yet.
* 4-5 grams of Lysine daily (powder/capsules)
In addition : (Other)
* Vitamin C 250mg X3 daily. Crucial for collagen synthesis.
* Omega 3 - about 8 grams of fish oil daily (highest quality, not oxidized oil - hard to find and expensive).
* Vitamin E ( d-Alpha Tocopherol + mix of other E's).
* Low Carb Diet - Keto or Carnivore (zero carbs). Moderate proteins, high fat.
* Reducing AGE's in meat by lightly cooking meat / eating raw meat.
