as far as i know collagen supplements are just broken down into amino acids in the stomach, mostly into glycine and some others.
assuming this is true and there isn’t a particular benefit to taking collagen, would it technically also be an option to just take amino acids such as glycine individually for the same collagen and hair benefits?
or is it more effective to take specifically collagen supplements? (maybe because they have the perfect combination of aminos for producing collagen, i’m not really sure)
