Bruxism made out so my back teeth got worn down, when i bite down its looks like how an old person with no teeth looks. Not sure if it has slightly affected my resting face aswell. I am thinking about getting a mouth guard/ retainer or something to put in my teeth during the day in order for my lower third to be longer as there is something in my mouth to bite down on, aswell as it would mitigate any further teeth grinding. Does anyone know how large a retainer I would need? I have a narrow face so if it is too large it could make my face look too long, but on the other hand I have a small lower third so would it be beneficial to have a very large retainer?

I don't know, but what would the 'actual' solution be?
crowns maybe?
extrusion of the teeth using braces and stuff?

I know that facial dentist guy (sam muslin or something?) used to use all kinds of dental tricks to lengthen the lower third by 'lifting' the bite. Probably using them sort of methods. But it cost more than jaw surgery!
