College is already brutal

2 days in my only real friend so far is my roommate. I’ve talked to others and gotten their phone numbers or instagram but they’re mostly on different floors. There’s dudes 6’3+ all over the place talking to girls that are no taller than 5’1 and the average height seems to be like 6’1 for some reason. Anyone else in college are these kinds of shallow friendships normal in the first few weeks? I’m going to join clubs and do sports so I’m trying to get more friends there but they haven’t started yet

Holy shit you described my freshman year exactly. Bro those shallow friendships are normal for all 4 years of uni. Just join clubs and try to ignore the mog
