I guess this is true to some extent but IMO unless you’re mayocel or black I don’t think so tbh. You can make friends and gain contacts but you’ll never build a actual social circle from university. IMO, you have to build a social circle while you’re in high school or it’s over. Because imagine chilling with random lames from uni instead of people you actually know, it sounds so forced and gay tbh.

this happened to me, i was lucky enough to hang out with some cool dudes in high school that had a crazy status and social circle and i easily made close friends in college in my first year

IMO it’s nuanced. Like you can talk to anyone in college but who are you going to hang around with? You need actual OG friends or you’re fucked. Whereas in high school you’re relegated to certain cliques but those cliques are for life. I’m semi-fucked tho because my high school friends are sort of fake; they invite me to plans but they blatantly do stuff and keep screets from me. I’m basically an entertaining tagalong. I 100% won’t have an opportunity to go on trips and do fun shit with the ‘bros’ in my early 20s lol, best hope I ascend early with a foid inshallah so I have some company

College depends purely on ur luck. I got lame flat mates meanwhile my friends got into a much more active flat with NT mixed gender group that goes out. I had to work so hard socially to make up for my shitty luck

It’s semi difficult to make friends in college, but that could be due to my reserve personality. Dating is relatively easy — have been lucky w/ most races of girls especially international (FOB) asian foids.
