This thread is about me trying colored contacts.
Eye-Doc said all contact lenses are a bit dangerous, he has to operate people when something goes wrong.
I think the risk is very low, especially with one-time-use contact lenses.

Question nr 1:
What color to get?
I guess lighter = better.
And I guess blue is the cliché color to go for.
I have green eyes it seems.

Hm, faceapp morph seems to make my eyes… greyish? Well, lighter mostly I guess.

Ok, i found some sellers, price seems to be about 1 euro per one-time-use contact lense.
What baffles me: they all have 10pairs.. of one color.. why not have 1 package with all colors, to try them out.. ok I found one seller that says you can send it back after trying one pair.

I found two brands in my region for colored one-time-use contacts: topvue and freshlook
(see all of them here: imgur-link to colored contacts)
topvue soft grey: I guess this could look good and lighter
topvue sapphire blue: I guess blue is the classic, and I don’t know how well it mixes with my green eyes
topvue fresh green: light green could be interesting cause I guess it mixes better with my green eyes

[topvue blue seems to be dark while I want light tone, same with topvue green]
freshlook blue and freshlook grey could also be worth a try

So I guess I will first order topvue: soft grey, sapphire blue and fresh green

also contacts are always obvious unless going just slightly lighter, and even then still quite obvious

I was at the eye-doc because of some other thing and he said 'Do not do it, it's not worth it, people get infections and stuff and i have to operate them'. I guess it's logical, he only sees the people who have problems with it.

wtf is that, are you wearing lenses already on your pic?

Any color contacts will look fake under very bright lighting
But in normal lighting, or even sunlight they look natural for the most part
I think blue contacts look notoriously fake though, even on white people

Just wash your eyes

I tried literally every single contact brand/type and there is only one top tier lens that i will use for the next years:

I’ve had contacts for years and my optometrist literally encouraged it
