I have been taking 30mg of Beta-carotene, 24mg of Astaxanthin, 50mg of Lutein and 20mg Lycopene everyday for the past 40 days and my skin complexion/coloring has actually improved and i have a nice healthy glow without having to step into the sun, which is obv more ideal since UVA and UVB rays break down the natural collagen in your skin.

However ive seen a lot retards claiming on here that supposedly megadosing Carotenoids is cope. But i think they are just too dumb to dome some research since just like with pretty much every other supplement it matters alot how and when you take it. Ignoring that will tank bioavailability and make sure you aint getting the benefits you'll be wanting. Also taking low dose supplements like for example 10 mg of beta carotene and 6mg of astaxanthin wont do jack shit you need more of coloring.

You dont wanna take any of the Carotenoids on an empty Stomach/without any dietary fat. All four are fat-soluble so they all need dietary fat for absorption.
Another thing is if for example you take all Carotenoids at the same time they will be competing for the same absorption pathways which reduces how much of each one actually gets into your bloodstream especially when taken without enough dietary fat or at high isolated doses. For exmple Lutein reduced beta-carotene absorption when taken simultaneously, just like how beta-carotene compete with lutein and lycopene for absorption when consumed together. So you wanna space the em out throughout the day for example how i do it:

I take Astaxanthin in the morning together with some omega 3 fish oil capsules (also my Astaxanthin comes in oil capsules as well so it doesnt really matter for this one if i have a meal or nah).
Then i take beta carotene with lunch and lutein when i eat dinner.
Lycopene i take before i go to bed.

So main takeway is if you want to get visible results from Carotenoids you need to first of all megadose, split the timing of each intake and make sure to take them with a fatty meal or at least a tablespoon of oil or fish oils caps.

havent taken any yet, i think the difference is subtle but visible it not like a full blown tan from hours under the sun but kinda sun kissed if you know what i mean. Its obviously only really worth it if youre white/pale but also you get a little bit of "natural" sun protection from the Carotenoids since they are internal antioxidants

just tan bro, tan unironically ascended me gigahard and it's zero effort

the sun is literally the devil ages you like crazy. sun damage is literally responsible for 80–90% of visible facial aging.

no because you dont wanna age your self. The sun literally causes the majority of visible aging especially collagen loss through its UV radiation

even with spf and uv protection you could tan, not as fast tho

tanning is literally you body's response to skin damage from UV. Your cells are scrambling to block radiation after DNA hits from the Sun.
Tanning is not healthy in any shape or form, if you tan with UV protection on that means your skin is still being damaged since Melanin production only ramps up if your cells detect DNA damage

your carotinoid tan is probably only visible to you, nobody cares about some subtle "undertones" from lycopene, how can you be a 2021cel and create a thread on carotinoid coloring in the big 26, it's honestly insane.

I have to explain the same shit to every commentator it seems like.
Tanning means UV radiation is damaging your skins DNA and driving photoaging and skin-cancer risk if youre tanning that means your skin is reacting to damage from UV nothing less. Melanotan II does not protect you from that damage yeah it will increase your ability to tan but that doesnt mean your safe from the damage that is caused by the sun. Suncreen will also not protect you from that damage if your goal is to be tanned since in order to tan you need to expose yourself to UV, so if you combine mt2 with sunscreen is it "safer" than going out in the sun without any spf and without mt2 maybe yes sure but IF YOU'RE TANNING EVEN WITH SPF AND MT2 THAT STILL MEANS YOUR SKIN IS REACTING TO BEING DAMAGED BY THE SUN'S UV.
That should be common knowledge. Also on the topic off carotinoid coloring the forum is being invaded by 13 year old newcels who will still ask the same lazy ass questions like dOeS bOneSmaShinG woRk:feelsuhh::feelsuhh: so going back to basics is not something out of the ordinary here and people rarely mention the details how you should take the pills when talking about carotinoid coloring which are arguebly more important and the main reason why ppl dont seem to get results from taking them

yeah but will rape your skin barrier and you might wrinkle faster after. Is a viable option still but that doesnt mean you shouldnt be taking care of your skin obv. Better to play the long game than bet everything on that one treatment

mirin long response.
yeah, I obviously know that every bit of sun damage is "bad", including tanning, but you can get a good tan with only 10 minutes of sun exposure per week while using melanotan 2 so the skin damage is minimal. if you tan for 3 hours, even with sunscreen, then you're retarded, yes.

for me, the trade off of some uv damage down the line for a nice looking tan is more than worth it. if you wanna live your whole life indoors, that's okay, but to completely eliminate every possibility of uv exposure is unrealistic for most and arguably also a fast track to depression.

I understand sure avoiding all sun exposure is not realistic unless you want to live a fucking Vampire but uv exposure is one biggest culprits when it comes to visible aging that's why I aim to avoid it and apply SPF 50 sunscreen everyday which kinda mimics living under the rock during daylight if you think about it at least if the SPF is strong enough that's why you also shouldn't be able to tan if you apply the correct SPF ideally multiple times a day because if you're tanning while having SPF on that means you skin is being exposed to sufficient amounts of UV which causes it to implement defense mechanism in form of tanning since its getting damaged. I guess mt2 makes it easier for you to tan and therefore you need less UV exposure so it's therefore less damaging but still not optimal.
But I obviously understand being tan makes you more a tractive so and order to achieve that with harmful UV exposure we could achieve something similar with carentoids if we do it correctly in my opinion

lycopene, astaxanthin -> red , they are also good antioxidants
lutein -> yellow/orange. And very good for eye health

If you just take beta carotene at high doses it can look kinda unnatural or not really like a tan

how rich are you bro mirin, astaxanthin alone is hella expensive for a supplement

you probably did something wrong then

didnt consume with enough fat
too low dosage
or bought fake supplements
Didn't hear from a lot of people that it completely changes their skin tone tbh. It's just a subtle difference in my experience and never seen a crazy transformation from others either

Well not really but I typically wait for it when its on sale 90 capsules for like 15-20€. Others are also like 20€ each
