This system is called the "seasonal colouring analysis" which determines your overall colouring and undertones. Colouring and undertones enthusiasts, this one is for you.

More information:

Introduction to seasonal colouring:
Twelve season colour analysis is based on three variable traits: value, hue, and chroma. Each of these is a scale, and where you fall on the three of them will help determine your colour season.

On one end of the value scale is light, and on the other end is dark

Now, it is important to remember
that when we talk about dark and light here, it is not in reference to other people, but more of a general impression of the way your features are presented. People of colour (usually mulattos, light Latinos, some Levantines) can be considered light on the value scale, and people with very light skin (e.g. Northeast Asians) can be dark on the value scale. Here are some celebrities with light or dark as their primary trait.

Dark

On one end of the hue scale is warm, and on the other end is cool

Warm skin may appear
to give a sense of caramels, yellows, peaches, or reddish undertones. Cool skin can give a sense of olive, blue, purple, or grey undertones. Both warm and cool skin mog, especially when they are allowed to shine in harmony with colours from a matched palette. Here are some celebrities with warm or cool as their primary or secondary trait.

1662058581125
Warm

1662058588393
Cool

On one end of the chroma scale is muted, and on the other end is clear

Chroma refers to the softness or brightness
of your appearance. Simply put, chroma is the amount of contrast in your features - do they blend together or stand out against one another? If they blend, then you are more complimented by muted colours. If they stand out, then you are more complimented by bright colours. Here are some celebrity faces that have muted or bright as their primary or secondary trait.

Multiple choice poll, which are the best colourings to have?

You can find out your colouring type on the "Dressika" app on the Play Store or App Store, which detects your colouring from a photo you upload using AI (it gets deleted afterwards and is completely private). I got Clear Winter.

But you know deep down none of the clothes you wear matter if you’re not gl in the first place. I mostly wear 6$ T-shirts these days because looks can compensate. Also ironically there is a stereotype where I live that only poor folks who aren't rich but are desperately trying to convince other people who aren't rich that they are rich dress super expansively and the more money there is , the less overtly ostentatious people are in my experience.

For this purpose no, but we want to strive to achieve a certain colouring for appeal if we don't have it already.

Which colouring mogs?
Coloring isn't universal really. Some coloring fits for some people, garbage on others.
But I think that light and/or colored eyes improve coloring in general.

This system is overly complicated without even bothering to be very specific as to what exactly shit like "light" and "dark" are supposed to mean when it puts people with light skin into the "dark" category and describes how people with dark skin can be in the "light" category.

If you're not judging "light" and "dark" on the skin colour itself then what exactly do you mean, because you already use "hue" to describe undertones and "chroma" to describe contrast, and it also couldn't mean a "general impression" when you already get that from the final seasonal colour.

Is "value" simply in reference to muh "dark looks" theory vs muh "blonde/nordic" pheno?

I really like the concept but it's not specific enough with the "value" category for it to be as complicated/organized as that chart suggests.

Either be complex/organized and very specific about what each category or term represents, or be simple and easier to follow if you're going to be more "general" with your terms.

Putting that aside though, clear winter and clear spring easily mogg due to their "clear" chroma bringing out the best of their contrast, followed then by true summer and maybe soft autumn but I'm still not sure on the autumn season as a whole.

I think people in the "dark" category refers to those with "dark looks theory" looks, not necessarily dark skin, hence the high amount of ricecels in the "Dark Winter" category.

I personally think this system is pretty complicated, but if you'd like it simplified:

I can't really decide what's worst from just that list tbh, they're all either subpar or "okay" but only the clear winter and true summer really seem to mogg the others by a significant margin.

In terms of regular skin colour scaling though yellow, beige, and brown undertones seem to be terrible, regardless of the actual colour of the skin itself.

This is why curry skin is by far the worst regard less of whether it's "light" or "dark" because not only does it have yellow or even legit brown undertones, but the shine of the actual top colour itself isn't usually just "brown" but a flat matte brown without any shine.

Other "dark" peoples or ethnics don't have this as their skin is usually shiny and/or consists of different undertones.

Hence the appropriate use of the term "shitskin"
