Coming off oral minoxidil after achieving desired results

after achieving desired growth for eyelash and eyebrows from oral minoxidil, if u hop off it after taking it for eg 6 - 8 months , do the result slowly begin to reverse eg hair falling off or hair becoming less dense. Chat Gpt keeps saying I need to continuously take it to maintain results. is that true?

Eyelashes fall out and new ones grow back, if you stop using minox the new ones that grow back wont grow as tall or thick so keep using it
