commitment issues and cold feet

Whenever I talk to a girl, after a little bit, I start getting cold feet and start to back out. It has happened multiple times already and I'm starting to feel it with the girl I'm currently talking to. It isn't her face or looks because I think she looks good. It is literally just a personal weird thing I do where I start to try and distance myself from them and eventually stop talking altogether because I overthink + get scared thinking about the future. I'm a retard and don't know what's good for me.

I'm basically a bride who runs away at her ceremony because I'll talk to these girls, get super into them, and then suddenly as it is just starting to get serious I run
