Alright so I make these business-finance threads only on a little private .net forum which some of u r on, but i'm making one here for the first time, just to see the kind of engagement i would get on here.
ok so the company i wanna talk about today is Pinecone (https://www.pinecone.io/)
the company's main product is its vector-based indexing system. it makes it really easy to store data and organize it and makes semantic search giga fast.
for example, most of the data of today's world are stored in matrices and arrays and its very slow to index this way with large datalakes and datawarehouses. only some big shot firms like palantir can make their own vector-indexing systems.
so this would make it very fast to index through data.
this company has a pre-money valuation of $650M which is pretty good.
and the company's main focus right now seems to be to accelerate AI processing times, which if u ask me, is pretty legit, but at the same time, these niggers are giga cucking themselves with only focusing on whats on the hype train rn.
u have this powerful vector-based indexing system which literally could be embedded with any stack and u only wanna focus on AI? ultra dogshit braindead.
but yeah this is a company that imo will be soon bought out by Microsoft or Nvidia and they will actually use it for real world applications like bringing out very fast vector indexing native to SQL, which atm requires elasticsearch (which is pretty expensive).
